The Problem

O Level students often struggle to get fast, reliable feedback on their work because official question papers, mark schemes, and grading support are scattered across different resources. I wanted to create a single experience that could make revision more interactive and data-driven.

Technical Implementation

Built the platform in Python with a modern web interface and backend services for authentication, paper retrieval, answer grading, and progress tracking. Integrated Supabase for storing grading history, user data, and progress insights, and connected the app to AI-powered grading workflows for handwritten or typed responses. Added features for fetching official CAIE question papers and mark schemes by subject, year, series, and variant, along with auto-segmentation of multi-question scripts, weak-topic analysis, downloadable progress reports, flashcards, and an AI coach with memory and data access.

Reflective Analysis & Growth

This project was a strong exercise in combining educational utility with modern AI product design. I learned how much impact thoughtful UX and structured feedback can have on student confidence and learning outcomes, especially when the system can explain not just what was marked wrong, but why and how to improve.
